**Answers to the most recent reading assignment**

Linear Transformations on the Unit Square -- This Maple worksheet allows you to enter any 2 x 2 matrix A and see the effects the linear transformation T(x)=Ax has on the unit square. If you have Maple on your computer, use your mouse to click once and hold down. When a window appears, choose "download to disk". Then use Maple to open the worksheet.

**Note:** The problems listed in bold red are the "focus" problems. You should put even more care into the presentation of those than the rest, and they should come first, before the rest of your homework. Follow the homework guidelines while writing up the problems.Turn in all the problems listed for any given assignment, unless otherwise noted.
