Be sure to check back often, because assignments may change!

    Due Thursday 11/1
    PS 9: Individual Assignment

    Section 10.2: 5, 28, 30, 8, 27, 34, 12, 15, 16

These are out of order for a reason -- I think 8 and 27 are best done after getting some basic practice in 5, 28, and 30.

For #5, please make the following change: rather than, in part (a), showing that x-1<= f(x) for all x>= 0, instead show that x+1>=f(x) for all x>=0.

    Due Thursday 11/8
    PS 10: Group Assignment

    Section 11.1: 6, 9, 19, 24, 27, 29
    Section 11.2: 2, 4, 6, 11, 13, 32, 39, 45, 49, 53

    Due Thursday 11/15
    PS 11: Individual Assignment

    Section 11.3: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 18, 19, 20, 31, 34, 45

    Due Wednesday 11/28
PS 12: This assignment will not be collected, but it will be covered on the exam.

    Section 11.3: 21, 23, 24, 51, 52
    Section 11.4: 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 16, 19, 20, 23, 26, 31

    Due Thursday 12/6
    PS 12: Group Assignment.

    Section 11.5: 1, 3, 4, 12, 15, 27-32
    Section 11.6: 1-3, 5, 9, 13
    Section 11.7: 3, 5, 6, 7

    That's it for the semester!
