    Work on calculating the winner of your election.
    You should have the calculations done by Wednesday 2/23 at the latest.

    Notice that we skipped Chapters 2 and 3. Those are both interesting, and could be the springboard to a commercial topic or independent activity. Chapter 2 could be of particular interest to those with interests in Political Science or business: it relates to measuring how much power different individuals, districts, states, etc have.

    And while I'm on the subject, Chapter 9, which we also be skipping, may be a good springboard for those with interests in art or music.

    Your group should complete the calculations of the election's winner by Wednesday at the latest.
    Be thinking about your commercials and possible independent activities.
    One suggestion: The first 3 or 4 videos in the series Life by the Numbers are fun choices for small activities, and they can also give good ideas for larger activities and even commercials.

    Your group should begin writing your letter concerning the election. I'd be delighted to critique a rough draft for you.

    Finish your group project.
    Make sure every person in your group has proofread it before you turn it in.
    Remember it should stand on its own and explain everything clearly.
    Try having a friend who is not in the class read it.
    They ought to be able to understand it without you explaining anything about the project--what it's about, how you approached it, how the class voted, etc.
