	Homework:	Finish PS 13 Bring questions to class Wednesday The final is now 1 week away. It will cover everything, including fractals. If you haven't already, study the material since the last midterm: PS 11, PS 12, PS 13. The final will cover up through Friday's material and the exam is Monday afternoon. That means you have to be really on the ball, and begin your studying well in advance of the week-end.

5/3/00	Reading:	Chapter 12: bottom of p 407-p 415
	Homework:	Review PS 13 for Quiz 13 Friday. I have answers to many of the hw questions in my office. PS 14 Chapter 12 (pp 416-420): 13, 14, 17, 18, 21, 26, 28, 29, 30, 44, 45 due before the final. Your last journal entry is due Friday. Begin working on PS 14 right away. Try to finish it by Friday after class, so you can come ask me questions if necessary. Also begin reviewing the material from the first two midterms.

	Homework:	Finish PS 14 today! Turn in journal today. Over the week-end, study for the final. If you have questions, try to resolve them on your own, but failing that, I will have office hours Monday morning. I may even have them over the week-end, but check with me (I'm writing this in January, so I can't have the foggiest clue!) Do as many problems as possible: redo ones I assigned, and do new ones. Look over old quizzes and midterms. Write your cheat sheet: this time it can be one 8 1/2 x 11 page front and back, handwritten by you. Explore the web sites for Chapter 12
