Border Patterns
A border pattern consists of a motif which repeats itself, in the same manner, in 1 direction (1 dimension). In more mathematical language, a copy of the motif is translated by a certain translation vector, and then translated by that same translation vector, ad infinitum.
Using the 3 other rigid motions, rotation, reflection, and glide reflection, we can create
various, and quite different, border patterns.
