Precalculus--Math 100
    Guidelines for Submitting Reading Assignments

    last modified 8/20/99

You should make a solid attempt to answer the questions in each assignment, and email your answers to me at jsklensk@wheatonma.edu by 9am the day of the next class meeting.

Before beginning your reading, please read the Suggestions for Reading a Math Book.

The reading assignments are available through the course web page.

    A few simple guidelines:

    • Write your answers in complete sentences.
    • Every question implicitly ends with "explain your answer".
    • Send yourself a copy of every assignment, in case one "gets lost".

In order to receive credit, you must send me email from your account, and you must give it the subject line

Math 100 Your name Date reading is due

For example, for the first reading assignment, which is assigned 9/8 and due 9/10, I would use
    Math 100 Janice Sklensky 9/10

You, of course, will substitute your name for mine. It is important that you enter the course number and due date as shown, as I have them sorted automatically.

If the network is down, write or type the answers and turn them in at the beginning of class.
